A New Literacy Goal

Building a Library That Reflects Every Child

We were thrilled to welcome Kelley Stacy from American Reading Company to our Clubhouse for a conversation about literacy, access, and representation. ARC’s mission to ensure every child in America is reading and writing on or above grade level closely aligns with our own commitment to academic growth through long-term, relationship-based support.

Kelley brought with her a box of diverse, engaging books selected to help every child see themselves reflected in what they read. These stories not only support skill-building but also affirm identity, foster belonging, and ignite imagination. We’re especially excited about the opportunity to join ARC’s 100 Book Challenge, a structured literacy program that promotes daily reading and tracks progress over time.

Even better? Kelley generously offered to help us stock our Clubhouse library with more books tailored to the needs and interests of our youth. We’re excited to grow this partnership and build a culture of literacy where every child has the tools, and the stories, they need to succeed.
