Last week, we joined our incredible school partners for two celebrations to mark the season: a Fall Festival at Bayard Taylor Elementary and an indoor Trunk or Treat at WD Kelley School.

Friends, Mr. Kevin and Mr. John, joined the fun in Where’s Waldo costumes, adding plenty of smiles and playful energy to the festivities.

These events are more than just seasonal fun. They are opportunities for our Friends to strengthen relationships with the children they serve and to connect with the school staff who are part of each child’s support network.

We were also honored to spend a few moments with Senator Sharif Street, who stopped by to show his support. His visit underscored how vital community partnerships are in creating spaces where children feel seen, supported, and encouraged to thrive.

It was a joyful reminder of what’s possible when our community comes together for Philadelphia’s youth.
