BOARD: Dr. Sendy Alcidonis

Dr. Sendy Alcidonis (she/her/hers) serves as a Director on the Consulting team at Nonprofit Finance Fund. Sendy is excited to come alongside leaders of mission driven organizations as they work to advance social change in their communities. In her role at NFF, Sendy offers financial consulting to nonprofit leaders and facilitates understanding of financial concepts through individual and group learning sessions. Sendy is honored to support mission-driven organizations as they navigate change and transition with the tools and resources that best meet their needs and their highest aspirations.

Prior to joining NFF, Sendy gained more than 20 years of experience working in a variety of settings as a consultant, coach, administrator, researcher, trainer, and university instructor. Sendy’s experience in the nonprofit sector has been primarily in behavioral health, youth development, and higher education. Sendy has earned a bachelor's degree in political science from West Chester University of Pennsylvania, a Master's in Public Administration from the Biden School Of Public Policy & Administration at University of Delaware, and a PhD in Geography and Urban Studies with a Graduate Certificate in Women’s Studies from Temple University. Sendy’s role models are Audre Lorde, bell hooks, Beyoncé, and Oprah (in that order). She looks forward to partnering with you!
